Unlike traditional extensions that monitor your inbox in the background, our tool only reads the body of an email when you explicitly trigger the 'Scan this email' action. This manual activation ensures that your private conversations remain private and that we only interact with the job rejections you choose to address.
Built with Manifest V3, UnFold is designed to store all processing records locally on your machine. We deliberately chose not to use the Gmail API or require OAuth permissions, stripping away the need for broad account access. By keeping the logic entirely within your local browser environment, we eliminate the vulnerability of cloud-based data storage and remotely-loaded code.
Our mission is to empower U.S. job seekers with agency over their own search history. While we facilitate transparency through state-compliant requests like CCPA and NYC Local Law 144, UnFold remains a tool for information, not a law firm. Every disclosure inquiry is reviewed and sent by you, ensuring that you maintain full control over your professional journey and digital identity.
