Is my email privacy protected?
UnFold does not passively scan your inbox. It only processes the body of a specific email when you manually trigger a scan. Your stays in your private account and private by design.
How much does UnFold cost?
V1.0 UnFold is free to use. Our mission is to make the hiring landscape more accessible and transparent for every job seeker in the U.S.
Is the extension secure?
We built UnFold using Manifest V3 with no remotely-loaded code. It requires no OAuth permissions and never requests access to send mail on your behalf.
What jurisdictions are covered?
We support requests under California's CCPA, Illinois HB 3773, and NYC Local Law 144, alongside federal guidelines to ensure broad support for U.S.-based candidates.
Which email providers work?
Currently, UnFold is a Chrome extension purpose-built for the Gmail interface. This allows us to offer precise letter composition without needing intrusive inbox access.
